While the idea of building a new home in the mountains or near your favorite lake or river is exciting, when construction actually starts, the process can be intimidating. Oftentimes, the construction site looks like... well... a construction site until the frame of your home really starts to come together. But it doesn't have to be so nerve-racking.
Brown Haven Homes uses a 24-point quality control checklist for every home we build, and we are adamant about sticking to it. On our job sites you'll find only professional trade partners and project managers, organized materials and supplies, and attention to detail that is second to none…. because we know that peace of mind is priceless. Here are a few ways we make sure that happens:
1) Job Site Cleanliness:We take pride in what we do and are aware of how appearances can reflect on a company and its customers. On our job sites you'll never find trash or debris, overflowing dumpsters, or unorganized piles of materials. Every day of your build, our team cleans up and organizes the job site, and makes sure the street in front is clean and passable for others.
2) Trusted Trade Partners: Our trade partners — electricians, plumbers, roofers, tilers, and more — are carefully vetted, many having worked with Brown Haven Homes for over a decade. They work hard to do an outstanding job, and take great pride in their work. They are construction professionals who take their jobs seriously and treat each job site like your home... because it is!
3) Construction Quality Details: No detail is too small to be triple checked. We have regular, thorough inspections throughout the building process to ensure that there are no exposed nails, that walls, windows and doors are plumb, that there are no paint drips, and that drywall is free of cracks and blemishes — and these are just a few examples. We pay close attention to small details that make a big difference, like measuring the depth of attic spaces to make sure we get complete insulation coverage between studs, and that insulation splits at wires. On our job sites, building standards are always met and often exceeded.
4) Satisfaction Surveys:We send our customers surveys throughout the build to make sure you are satisfied with every stage of construction. Surveys help us improve our processes by gathering your feedback on questions like:
If you're interested in building a home in North Georgia, Western North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee, and you'd like to learn more about how the building process works, please contact us. We can’t wait to start building with you!
