It’s just hard to beat Fall in the mountains! The cool, crisp air, finally breaking out your flannel shirts, hot coffee on a cool morning, and the ultimate debate of pumpkin spice of apple cider flavored everything! No matter your fall aesthetic is, Chattanooga is the place to be this Fall with a wide variety of fall events, festivals, activities, and tastings, making it easy for you to ‘Fall in love with Chattanooga’.


Fall in love with Farms & Orchards

Fairmount Orchard| 2204 Fairmount Pk. | Head up Signal Mountain to shop apples, jams, butters, and more. Pro tip: their famous apple cider is a must!

Flat Top Mountain Farm| 638 Bowman Cemetery Rd. | this beautiful family-owned farm is a great option if you have younger kids, the hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and more will keep them entertained for hours!

Guthrie’s Pumpkin Farm| 490 County Rd. 67, Riceville | This pumpkin farm located about ~one hour from downtown features a corn maze, wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, animal petting barn, and pumpkins costing $0.50 a pound. It’s not fall if you haven’t carved a pumpkin!

Fall in love with Trails

Craven’s House to Point Park| This 2.8-mile hike isn’t too difficult and has stunning views once the leaves start to change. Pro tip: you will have to walk up steps, so keep that in mind when bringing along your furry friends.

Snooper’s Rock Trail| This 5.8 mile out-and-back is considered a moderately challenging hike but has the best sunrise views. Pro Tip: keep an eye out for the stunning Olan Mills Residence across the river.

Riverwalk| Rent a bike for the day with Bike Chattanooga + take a ride on the Riverwalk.

 

Fall in Love with Vineyards & Restaurants

Together Café| 801 S. Orchard Knob Ave. | Head to this Highland Park coffee shop for plenty of comfy seating, seasonal lattes, and fall vibes.

Public House Restaurant| 1110 Market St, Chattanooga, TN | A modern take on locally sourced Southern fare, with an admiral wine list in a refined and relaxed environment.

Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar| 1459 Riverside Dr #4312, Chattanooga, TN | Seafood, barbequed meats, a huge outdoor seating area, and you’re on the river, sounds like a pretty good way to spend the evening!
