Brown Haven Homes are the Perfect Accessory for a Rustic Lifestyle

Where we build our new homes says a lot about us - we have a passion for building affordable custom homes in some of the most desirable rustic areas throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Georgia, North and South Carolina. As such, many of our Brown Haven Home owners and prospective homebuyers also share this zest for the great outdoors and it’s one of the deciding factors of why they chose to build their new homes with us. Because of where we build, our homeowners are able to have many of their interests and hobbies right at their fingertips the moment they step out from their doors. Whether it be hiking, fishing, boating, mountain biking, water sports or more, there are ample nearby parks and recreations that offer plenty of opportunities to accompany an active rustic earthy lifestyle to go along with your Brown Haven Home.

Popular Nature Destinations

Have we mentioned yet that we love being able to build throughout the beautiful surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mountains? By building in Northern Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina our homeowners are guaranteed to be consumed by nature and are mere steps away from countless outdoor adventures.

Located in Dawson County Georgia, within the Chattahoochee National Forest, this state park is a nature lovers wonderland! Only 8 miles from the Appalachian Trail, Amicalola Falls boasts a 729-foot waterfall that is the third-highest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. If that’s not enough, Amicalola Park also offers various exciting outdoor activities, such as 3-D archery, zip lining, guided hiking, GPS scavenger hunts, bird watching, fitness trails and more!

Located just north of Asheville, nestled within the Appalachian Mountains sits Grandfather Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern escarpment of the Blue Ridge Mountains. An iconic North Carolina landmark, this mountain offers stunning scenery and is home to America’s highest suspension footbridge, The Mile High Swinging Bridge. In place since 1952, the Mile High Swinging Bridge welcomes all visitors to admire 360-degree panoramic views from Grandfather Mountain. In addition to the breathtaking views, this park is also known for some of the South’s most challenging terrain, with trails for experienced hikers, wrapping around cliffs and even up ladders.
